The Mission of the Jasmine Road Social Enterprise is that residents and graduates will receive job training and meaningful employment in a healthy environment. We will create a financially viable business that will provide protected, nurturing employment opportunities to women recovering from sexual exploitation, until they can transition into competitive employment. We will also offer products and services that will provide a platform for sharing our mission and funding for the non-profit. Once the women begin healing in the residential program, they will begin working in the planned Social Enterprise to develop employment skills and social skills that will help them be able to eventually gain employment at a living wage. This is a vital component of the restoration program because offers sustainability by helping the graduates get into long-term stable housing where they can live independently.
Jasmine Road will unveil the social enterprise in 2019. We want to apply the same kind of innovation in the social sector that is prevalent in Greenville’s thriving business sector. Stay tuned…
